1980s Victor Costa Off Shoulder Gown Striped Brocade Satin
Fabricated in a romantic striped satin Brocade in 50/50% nylon/poly in white with a dusty rose, mint green and buttery yellow striped and floral jacquard design with touches of black and brown.
Bodice is lined
Off-shoulder style with elastic gathered ruffle at shoulders
Half length bubble sleeves with elastic openings
Front and back bodice fitted with darts
Thread loops at waist for belt
Full skirt gathered into waist seam
Pockets! set into side seams at hip
Skirt is unlined, but there is a tulle crinoline hand stitched inside at the waist seam
Fastens down center back with a Robin brand coil zipper and a hook and eye at the top
Blind hem clean finished with a rayon hem tape
***the original belt was missing so I’ve added a vintage (1940s) pink velvet ribbon sash to complete the look. (included with dress)
